Demelza Hospice Care for Children raised more than £4,500 for its work after The Paramount Foundation CIC, along with other charitable organisations, donated the vital ingredient for the charity’s Easter Egg Hunt.

One hundred chocolate Easter Eggs were delivered by Paramount Foundation Manager, Matt Salisbury, to the team at Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Demelza help families struggling to cope because their children have a serious or terminal condition at its hospice, near Sittingbourne.

One of the Paramount Foundation’s key aims is to improve the lives and wellbeing of the young people in communities it works in.

Established by Rochester-based Paramount Independent Property Services, the leading provider of specialist temporary accommodation services in Kent and the South East, the Paramount Foundation is coordinating a programme of sports, creative arts, gardening and IT, and community support groups to help get young people into education or work.

Matt Salisbury, said: “The staff and volunteers at Demelza do an amazing job and we wanted to continue our support for them, which was initiated last year by Paramount Independent Property Services.”

The Easter Egg Hunt involved Cotton Tail the rabbit and friends and was held in the Demelza Gardens, on Friday 19 April.
